Publication charge

PUBLICATION CHARGE
Please note that there is an obligatory charge (EUR 120/PLN 500) for each manuscript submitted on or after January 1, 2021 via our editorial system and accepted for publication in Physiotherapy Quarterly. Payment is intended to cover the cost associated with publication partially.

Please note that there is an obligatory charge – EUR 150 – for each manuscript submitted on or after January 1, 2024 via our editorial system and accepted for publication in Physiotherapy Quarterly. Payment is intended to cover the cost associated with publication partially.

For authors from Poland the charge is 750 PLN.

The authors of ordered articles, section editors cooperating with the journal editorial office, and employees of the Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences (AWF) are exempt from the fee. If the manuscript has been written jointly by the employees of AWF and authors from other institutions, the exemption from the payment applies only when the first, the last, or the corresponding author is the employee of AWF.

We shall send an invoice for payment after articles are accepted for publication.

The corresponding author is responsible for all documentation necessary for proper processing of the bank transfer. The author should send us proper postal and e-mail addresses and all necessary data for the invoice, including the editorial number of publication. We shall send an invoice for payment after articles are accepted for publication. In the title of the transfer operation, the reference number of the manuscript, which is automatically given during the submission process, should be written. During a bank transfer, please indicate author’s name in addition to the article number (e.g. John Smith, FIZ-00246-2021-12).

Bank transfer charges should be covered by the payer (the sender). Please scan the remittance receip and add it via our editorial system in the "PAYMENT / Add Payment confirmation" in your account. The payment will be approved upon receipt of the transfer confirmation from the Publisher's bank.

The fee applies only to the cost of preparing/developing the article for publication in the journal. The fee does not affect the date of the article publication.
Please be informed that if the author decides not to publish the work, which was already accepted and paid, the fee paid will not be returned for reasons beyond the Publisher’s control.
